These documents include a four page list of 109 “important guests” who were invited to the event by the pro-Trump organization Women For America First. The list also identifies 12 members of the “DC Team” who helped stage the rally.
That statement doesn't exist. You will notice the story said Carone "could not be reached." Tried a few numbers I could find. None seemed to work. I also emailed Matthew Stackpoole, who has been identified as Melissa's fiancee and was also on this list, at four different addresses I was able to find for him.
Drop me a line at hunterwalker@protonmail.com and if I can verify it's really coming from Melissa, happy to update. Would be very interested in hearing what you have to say.
Hunter, you or your team never reached out to Tina Forte for a comment on this story. I know because I am her campaign manager and I handle all of the emails. Tina did NOT attend that rally on January 6th. She kindly declined because she was there to do a flag drop at the Lincoln Memorial for artist Scott LoBaido which was aired on Newsmax. I would like to see the request for comment you sent to Tina. You can email it to press@realtinaforcongress.com otherwise we can assume you are lying about reaching out which now puts a big smudge in your story. Thank you. Jen Remauro
Hi Jen. I can't put a picture in the comments but I will tweet the screengrab I have of my phone call to the number on your site. I left a voicemail. I understand your point that she was in DC that day but not there and will leave this right here below the story for people to read. Thanks so much.
Thank you, Hunter. Is there a way you can update the story to state she was not there and remove her from the list of people who did not respond. We would greatly appreciate it.
It does appear Tina Forte did not go to the rally at the Ellipse, even though she was invited. However, the claim that Tina "was there to do a flag drop at the Lincoln Memorial for artist Scott LoBaido" omits too much context to be fully accurate.
Tina livestreamed before this, as she helped carry the Anti-Pelosi flag away from the Lincoln Memorial. She makes it very clear that her location is important because she is in front of the Capitol building, not because it is near the Lincoln Memorial. The livestream can be accessed here https://youtu.be/KiC5lOCA2So . At 00:23, Tina says, "I'm in front of the Capitol right now," then turns the camera to show the Capitol. At 01:14 she tells viewers to "get your a**es to the Capitol." This livestream was recorded after the Anti-Pelosi flag was first brought out, in front of Lincoln Memorial.
I have no association with The Uprising or with Hunter Walker. I do take issue with people who try to distance themselves from Jan 6th, when they were so proud of their actions on the day itself.
Sure. There is evidence that Tina was very near the Capitol sometime after 10 AM and supported the protestors. I have seen no evidence that she was still there near 2 PM, when riot was declared.
Based on your interactions thus far (and notwithstanding the 1/6 Committee's statement on Friday that they are 'swiftly considering' criminal indictments against individuals who defy subpoenas), do you think we will see actual consequences for flaunting Congressional authority?
The 600 or so being processed have already experienced some consequences, the question is whether those at the top like Ginni Thomas or Doug Mastriano will face accountability.
I was referring to the flaunting of Congressional subpoenas, but I take your point. The answer to your question seems clealy to be 'no'...Garland would have to appoint a special counsel to investigate 1/6 and he seems utterly unwilling to do so. The midterms are a year away, and there is zero chance that Garland will act in an election year. Sadly, the answer to my question is also likely to be 'no'.
The FBI investigation is going from the bottom up. It will be a slow moving thing so I'd expect it to be a while before we know how far up the chain they are willing and able to go. The select committee is taking essentially the opposite approach.
I was never contacted- that is a false statement, MELLISSA CARONE WAS NOT CONTACTED TO COMMENT

Hey Jen - sent an email to the campaign address just to confirm this. Thanks!

Video evidence shows that Tina helped carry LoBaido's giant Anti-Pelosi flag (not a US flag) onto restricted Capitol grounds. That video can be viewed here https://twitter.com/DianthaSol/status/1430362889559347205 .

A video of the initial "flag" location on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial was indeed tweeted by a Newsmax correspondent at 10:12 AM on Jan 6th: https://twitter.com/MikeCarterTV/status/1346837091980873728.
More evidence documenting Tina Forte's actions on Jan 6th can be found https://www.snopes.com/news/2021/08/25/tina-forte-capitol-riot/.

Tina and myself have time stamped evidence we were not at the Capitol when everything went down. Will you post that?
Show us the evidence.

This is a bad time to be a born pessimist, sigh.
