For some GOP Congressmen, it's a thrill to tell bald-faced lies, for some it's a way of signaling their base, for most it's a way to demonstrate their contempt of the 'Left'. The latter is the key...Republicans can lie to the public and themselves by reassuring one another that the 'radical Left' would be so much worse. Of course, it's a lie...under GOP control, the fabric of the country has been frayed beyond repair, but lie upon lie is the only road forward for Republicans. Thank you for your work.
