Was it “insurrection” when the “Chaz” was set up with roving gangs of armed people demanding protection money from businesses? And how quickly everyone forgot about the Bernie Bro who shot up a congressional baseball practice….

When are they going to subpoena the organizers of the BLM riots that set Portland on fire for a year, cause a couple billion in damage, and included over 30 deaths?

Asking for a friend.

Oh, but that’s right, they don’t mind if the peasants have their businesses leveled to the ground, get dragged from their cars and beaten. So long as the seat of power isn’t actually threatened..lol

I appreciate the reporting, but I've been hearing the phrase 'he's going to flip' for 5 years. With the exception of Michael Cohen, who didn't provide much in the way of relevant information (and what he did provide was promptly ignored by SDNY), no one has flipped in any meaningful manner.

I think you're on to something interesting here. If you look at this story you can see some folks targeted by this probe are indeed cooperating:

That being said, when we are talking about potential penalties from the committee it is criminal contempt or referral. Even that requires willingness from the Justice Department. I think it's pretty clear that, so far, we have not seen the DOJ take an aggressive posture with high level Trumpworld figures.

Yes, when Garland does take action, it's been targeted and effective (excepting his bizarre decision re the E Jean Carroll case), but his non-action re 1/6 is reaching levels of absurdity, as is his glacial speed at routing out internal DOJ corruption. With Wray dragging his heels over the massive series of errors on the part of the FBI, and Garland mirroring this inaction at DOJ, absolutely no one should be surprised when massive outbreaks of domestic violence begins. I just read that the CIA recruits have been compromised, killed, or turned at alarming rates. Is there one institution of government that's working, because I see wholesale rot that's being papered over at best. At least the cruel and corrupt head if the NYPD union is out, now if only we were to see this repeated in Chicago, with the lunatic PD union head screaming about vaccines and Nazi Germany.
