I don't know if she'd be willing to reflect upon (or even acknowledge) her evolution, but it would be worth hearing her take on it. Maybe she's just grandstanding, or weird, or sucking up to donors, or all three. But I sort of want to know what's making her tick.
I am glad you saw this as better than the "shallow takes." Given her role, her personality are very interesting and notable but I thought the pronounced shifts in priorities and approach are way more interesting than the triathlons.
